Alaska Trophy Fishing Safaris

Avoid the other crowded Alaskan rivers and fish a unique location...

The only permanent American-owned lodging on the entire remote 250-mile long river!

Alaska Trophy Fishing Safaris, a family-run business, offers a unique and exceptional fishing experience for seasoned anglers as well as novices on the Bristol Bay river system. This is home to the largest native salmon run in the world. Unlike fishing the elbow-to-elbow, crowded river accessible by the Alaska road system, our pristine and private location on the Mulchatna River encompasses peaceful fishing on a river far from any crowds where you can catch seven different species of fish and enjoy an unprecedented wilderness adventure.

Most of our guests are returning customers. It’s no wonder since we average over 100 salmon caught per day! Celebrating 25 years at this exact location, we pride ourselves in providing a quality, service-oriented fishing trip. Along with the fishery, our dedicated crew of guides and staff is the highlight of most of our compliments.  Contact us now to book that fishing trip of a lifetime!

"100 king salmon - WOW! Many thanks for assisting Sarah and I in collecting some of the FIRST DATA ever on this very special Koktuli run of kings...amazing experience!"

- Dr. Carol Ann Woody, Fisheries Research & Consulting, Anchorage, Alaska

"It has been both a treat and an uptick to be back here on the Mulchatna after a decade plus hiatus. Carlin's experience and enthusiasm as an owner now has only served to perpetuate a world-class fishing experience and a happy camp life. I'm not certain how he succeeds at recruiting the staff.  But to an individual, they have all contributed to making this week a fun-filled and exceptional experience."

- Harry Forester, Minneapolis, MN

“Thank you for the best fishing trip of my life.  You run a tremendous camp, with just the nicest people you could find.  It will push me even harder to be successful so I can make sure I am able to visit more often.”

- John Ahearn, New York

“You and your team went the extra mile to make our stay one to be remembered… it truly is a place where everyone is treated like family.  I have been to dozens of lodges and camps and I can honestly rate yours in the top one percent.  Never have I been to a camp that has the quality of staff you have.  They are hard-working, friendly to the extreme, educated, professional and experts at everything they do.”

- Mike Schoby, Gander Mountain Outdoor Expedition Travel Manager.

“Thank you and your outstanding staff for a wonderful and safe time in camp.  Your operation is very impressive and your crew makes it so.”

- Michael Lunenschloss, Gander Mountain Outdoor Expedition pilot
